About This Game Stitched is a horror adventure game that strings together the thrilling story of Catherine Stockholmes, an otherwise ordinary girl. I actually enjoyed the voice acting, but it can be a bit repetitive. The puzzles were engaging, but I felt they sometimes got in the way of the story. (especially when I got stuck...lol). Overall decent game.. A fun little horror game. Descent puzzles, some memorable characters and an ok plot. I am looking forward to finishing it and seeing if my guesses are correct.. Its a really good game. The story is very interesting and the music is perfect in my opinion. Some puzzles are too easy but there are some really difficult ones too. I also love the character design of this game. But I have a little problem with one of my save files. When I'm loading this save file my character wont move correctly. It got stuck in one of the save statues and I don't know how to solve this problem.. I really wanted to like this game. So much. The concept sounded absolutely amazing. My friend and I played together since we often have these horror game nights together. We both couldn't finish it because the game feels more like a chores than a fun experience. The map was completely useless and we always ended up lost trying to find the keys and where to go next. The characters were fine, but not really lovable. I enjoyed the drawings though, and the fear of blood seemed like a good idea on paper, but it ended up extremely annoying, and just a stupid easy way to die as it was hard to see the blood on the floor. The chasing scenes were fine, but once we finally left the place and we were outside, it started to become annoying. And gosh, what annoyed me the most were the puzzles. Not bad in any ways, but it's not realistic how they are placed. Why is there a 'who drink what' puzzle in a middle of a room in a laboratory?? It just took me out of the experience. I expected more puzzles like 'find a number to open a door from the papers or dates' or 'the key is on the top shelf and can't reach it' since they make more sense where she is. It just really broke the story for me and felt like an escape room.I really wanted to love it. But I won't finish it. I have no more fun playing it, and I don't care much for the story line, which is undeveloped and cliché.. A simple puzzle game with really good artwork and haunting story. It's deffently worth your time an money.The puzzle arn't verry hard but they require some thought and have a good verity. It's got fantastic art throughout and constantly changes itself up to keep in interesting. It dose a good job of not letting you get lost but establish a nice art.It would be scarry except there isn't too many charecters so you never really feel like anyone is in any danger. If I had any sugestion for the devs is to add a couple more charecters so that when you run into a severed head it'll have more of an impact when you knew that charecter.. As far as an RPG maker goes, Stitched offers a lot of what you'd expect from an RPG maker horror game. It kept me very engagded and the story was interesting up until the end . This game never makes you feel bored since there is always something to do and the scares are there with a decent atmosphere and jumpscares as well. The mechanic for stepping of your "fright" being your HP was annoying at first (since stepping on blood triggers it) but it is nothing too frustrating.Now this game lacks in a few things:- It punishes you from exploring some areas since the scene of someone being dead lowers your "HP" - The pacing of the story is somewhat done well up until you try to escape, the whole ending sequence was very rushed. - The story at times can be VERY predictable but somethings still manage to be somewhat refreshing.- And the final things that made this game kind of unsatisfying where: the endings, they were too abrupt and were not satisfying enough for the build up you were givin. It was still a fun game and if you enjoy dark stories or horror troupes then this is a pretty decent pick up.. Just purchased this game and i have to say, this game is DOPE!
